C.A.L.C. Welcomes Guest Speaker Jim Stroker to Meeting

On Thursday, December 20, 2018, members of theCrusader Athletic Leadership Council met in the Arthur L. Johnson High School Auditorium.This is the eigth year for the Crusader Athletic Leadership Council, anorganization that has been founded to help educate our student athletes on someof the expectations that we have for them as they compete interscholasticallyin a variety of athletics. We hope that by informing this council of some ofour expectations, we will be able to foster an open and healthy relationshipamongst our student athletes, the school culture, and the community of Clark.

The Crusader AthleticLeadership Council is an organization that has been founded to help educateour student athletes on some of the expectations that we have for them as theycompete interscholastically in a variety of athletics. We hope that by informingthis council of some of our expectations, we will be able to foster an open andhealthy relationship amongst our student athletes, the school culture, and thecommunity of Clark.

Not only will this be of great help to all Arthur L. Johnsonstudent athletes and coaches, but it will offer up a vast array ofopportunities for the members of the CrusaderAthletic Leadership Council, including the ability to place this activityon future college applications.

The C.A.L.C. waslucky enough to have motivational guest speaker Jim Stroker speak to thegreoup. Coach Stroker has over 30 years of experience within the New JerseyPublic School System as a sports coach as well as a wellness educator. Jim’swellness program has been cited as one of the nation’s best and he was recentlyinducted into the New Jersey Coach Hall of Fame. Jim is also the creator of“Inspirational Hotline”, a morning message delivered to 700 students. Jim hasbeen using his unique gift to craft and deliver motivational and educationalkeynote seminars that resonate with audiences ranging from Fortune 500 CEO’s tothousands of high school students throughout the country, as well asNonprofits, Military, Gaming Associations, Healthcare Practitioners and NativeAmerica.
